Without further ado, we bring you The Durfees: Saving a Montana Public Land Treasure, a film about the efforts of a few ordinary people from Central Montana to thwart a land exchange controversy that threatened the existence of one of Montana's most unique (and elky) patches of public land. This isn't really a hunting film—it's a film about civic engagement told through a father-daughter elk hunting story. We couldn't have made it without the help of dozens of Kickstarter supporters, onX Hunt, Vortex Optics, Backcountry Hunters & Anglers, Traditional Bowhunters of Montana, and 2 Bar J Productions. Enjoy, and please feel free to give us feedback!
